This Cookie Notice explains how Ringside uses cookies and similar technologies on the Ringside marketing website at ringsidecoach.com and in the Ringside application at app.ringsidecoach.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Cookie use in the UK is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and, where cookies process personal data, the UK GDPR.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits. They can be “strictly necessary” for a site to work, or used for other purposes such as analytics.
How we measure traffic
The website and the application use three measurement tools:
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and traffic sources in aggregate. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites, so it runs for every visitor.
- Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load and respond. It is cookieless too, records timings rather than anything about you, and runs for every visitor.
- Google Analytics shows us in more detail how visitors find and use the site. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept, and at any time after you reject, we do not load Google Analytics, send nothing to Google and set no Google cookies. Advertising features and Google Signals are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising. Your choice is shared between the website and the application, so you are only asked once.
Before any page address is sent to Google Analytics it is shortened: record identifiers in the address are replaced with a placeholder, and the query string is dropped apart from campaign parameters (utm_source and similar). Details such as sign-in links, invitation tokens and record identifiers are therefore never sent to Google.

Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These are essential for the site and application to function, for example to keep you signed in, to remember your session, to remember your cookie choice, to route requests securely, and to protect against fraud and abuse. They do not require consent under PECR, and the site cannot be operated properly without them. Signing in to the Ringside application may set a small number of essential session cookies.
Analytics
Used to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights set no cookies.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Use the button below to reopen the cookie banner. If you reject after previously accepting, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are removed from this site. A Ringside application tab that is already open keeps measuring until you reload it.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking cookies or deleting those already stored. Most browsers let you do this from their privacy or security settings. Clearing this site’s data also clears your cookie choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working. General information about cookies is available from the ICO at ico.org.uk.

We may update this notice if our use of cookies changes. We will change the “last updated” date above.
